Getting child to try ADHD meds

Could anyone recommend a YouTube video or book that would explain ADHD to a 9 year old who is refusing to try medication? Maybe a child talking about how ADHD affects them and how their medication helps them? Thanks

Can’t help, but in the same boat as you. DS just diagnosed, will be put on medication to help with school, but he’s currently point blank refusing. Trying to drip feed the reasons why he should, but it’s a long slow journey. Currently telling him he’s like a Lamborghini with the hand break on with his school work and the medication would release it. But the resistance level is high. Will look into YouTube and TikTok for positive ideas/stories
