Can anyone please help me ? DS has been having significant behavioural problems since starting school in sept (and has always been a lively, busy boy). As part of our efforts to try and help him we took him to an allergy specialist. Ds was found to be sensitive to refined sugar, artificial colouring and certain preservatives. I understand that quite a few children with adhd also have to avoid these things and and I was hoping that someone maight be able to give me some advice. I have bought several chewy type bars from health food shops and also one bar of diabetic choc (very expensive!). Does anyone have any recipes for cakes or biscuits that avoid these things? Also are there any websites that sell sweet like treats that are sugar free? Would like to be able to make him some treats - especially with xmas coming.
