Carers Allowance and earnings threshold

Hi all, I work part time and have been claiming Carers Allowance for a few years. Due to the local government pay rise that is current being voted on, I am likely to get back pay in my Oct pay. It will take me over the earnings threshold for carers that month. It won't be a problem for the following month, just that one with the extra money added. What do I do in his situation? Just ring and explain my pay that month was more and pay it back? Will they cancel my claim and get me to reapply? Will they ask for payslips? I know its silly but I've got so much on my mind at the moment and this extra thing to think about is making me feel sick with worry.

Hopeful bump for the morning crown. Maybe this would be better in money topic 🤔

Hello, please can anyone help me figure this out? I have started to get UC from July and applied for carers allowance from August. I just wanted to know that when carers allowance gets back dated, how will UC deduct it, bearing in mind that for some of those months I did not get any UC payments (due to earnings) and some I got around £50. Will Carers allowance tell UC which months I was eligible? Or will UC just deduct carers payments even though they did not pay me UC for those months? sorry if I sound confusing.
