Here we go again, having to fill in all the forms again, my heart sunk when i opened the envelope and saw them, i had to ask for a rethink last time and get the boarding school involved to get higher rate back!!!

yep mine turned up for ds1 last Saturday- but they're not due until july so they won't be getting them done for a bit. Have enough crap without that frankly.

I'm going to wait till my Social Worker is back of sick leave and ask her to help me with them! She is very good like that!

pour yourself a large drink before even attempting them.

I think I have two sets due at the same time, ds3 should be easy (just need to hire the truck for the reports) but I have virtually nothing except the home-school book and a diary of injuries he has caused to send in, Paed has written a statement that he needs 24/7 supervision due to aggression though, its a bit old but paed ischarged (our usual one was away and the locum did it), and SW won't class boys as disabled , so I think I am going to request a re referral.

I've just done mine (took me weeks to get around to it) but I didn't realise I could send things like home-school books. I didn't really have anything to send as ds never sees a doctor or anything nowadays although I did put in the latest IEP. That's what I hate about DLA forms, you agonise over them and then finally get to the point where you have to post them and then realise afterwards all the things you forgot to put in or mention .
Peachy, I thought I had months to do them but then they started sending reminders in the post which just stressed me out even more so I just had to get on and do them even though they aren't due until May.
(also it winds me up that dh assumes it's down to me to do them but that's another story ).

I have the Dh isue for DLA forms too- amde him hold them to realise how much they weigh LOL!

Mine's going back may, there's afair chance we'll get a reduction for ds1 becuase of lack on back up(likely blanced by a mobility component for ds3), so they can wait.

Send anything you can to back the forms up. Make it ahrd for them to plough through so they know you know your stuff and will fight.

I'm waiting for the decision for ds2's review. I'm expecting the envelope to drop on the mat any day.
Don't know why, nothings changed with ds2 (except a few more letters after his name) but I think they are going to try & drop him to low rate mobility.
