it is brilliant

It is fab!
My ds finally learned to do an approximation of a wave by learning the 'goodbye' song.
Justin is great!

It's a fantastic programme. I'm not impressed by the BBC deciding to put it on during school hours though, apart from at the weekend. We can't record it (though next month we'll probably look into getting a recordable dvd player) so Ds1 misses most of it. Their shop website (where you can buy the dvds) says it's aimed at children 5 - 11, if that's the case why not make sure school age children can watch it .

When is the new series on? And how much have I missed already? . DS2 could name Mr Tumble before Mummy or Daddy!

We adore something special. Owen's learned lots of signs from it and the first series helped him with his actual speech a lot and Oscar (20 months, not yet speaking or gesturing) got a lot of giggles out of me signing horsey horsey this afternoon.

sphil, it's currently on at the start of the discover and do schedule, at 9am and noon. Hopefully, it'll be repeated at a better time for schoolage kids, or at the weekend, before long.

Thanks!

I am nan to Ellie my six year old Granddaughter and i am made to watch Justin Fletchter as Mr Tumble. I go back to my childhood days when i watch him. He is a born entertainer who even at my age of 53 has me spell bound. He is a genius to be able to command Ellie's attention for so long.
I would like to see him being interviewed with people like Richard & Judy and other programmes like that to see the real Justin. Have to say what a lovely happy dispostion he gives over, dishy too i might add.

monkeypie · 06/03/2008 21:05

My ds thinks Mr Tumble is wonderful too. He will ask me 'what's that?' and if i say 'it's a shoe', for example he will reply,'a shoe Mr Tumble?, yes, a shoe' and he does it in the same way Mr Tumble does it. Sooooo cute!
