Ds is naked.....AGAIN!!!

For some particular reason that I don't know of, Ds (ASD.almost 6) has decided to be naked.
From the minute he gets up till he gets dressed for school and then as soon as he gets home till he goes to bed!
I have an Rudey Boy!!
Someone please tell me that it's just a phase (again!) and he won't start stripping off in public or other people's homes?

We used to foster an ASD boy and he was the same . He never stripped off in public but used to at our house, as well as at home. Mind you, it was a long phase - we had him from ages 5 - 10 and he hadn't grown out of it when we stopped having him.

You didn't want to know that, did you?

I can deal with him giggling at me as he runs around nakes at home.
Home is fine. I'm just a little concerned that he will 'make himself comfortable' as friends houses!!

My ASD boy did this for a while, and I can vividly remember him also standing and weeing naked on the living room carpet! But with the help of my ABA tutors we got rid of the behaviour with what they called a "zero tolerance" policy. Basically, every single time he stripped we put his clothes on again, without talking to him, without any emotion. It was an utter pain for a few weeks and there were lots of tantrums, but he has never done it again and that's 2 years ago now. I think it is best to tackle this one now, as it's really sweet now but could get tricky in teenage years. But others may have different opinions?

I think dfs tried it once or twice at friends' houses but a stern 'No' stopped it. He was quite amenable to having different rules in different houses though.

He's happy in his PJs now.
I think he was too lazy to go upstairs and get them himself!
