my son, 3, has just been diagnosed with sensory processing disorder with no co morbidities at the moment. He is starting school in September and I’m just getting concerned as I know that SPD on its own isn’t really recognised as a disorder/disability in the UK but it causes him so many problems that I’m worried will be exacerbated in the school environment. I have a report from an OT with recommendations and she can come to school (but that will cost even more and we’re running low on the funds!) does anyone have any advice who has been through similar?
