Today I was told that the reason my ds does not understand simple instructions or sentences, is because of my parenting skills.
Who made such a stupid remark?
The salt and a health visitor!
Apparently I do not tak 'properly' to my ds.
How crapulous is that comment?
What they really mean is they don't want to provide any help for my ds anymore!

Deeeja, you know that they are talking shite, don't you ?!!!

How dare they !!

If they think that you are struggling/failing in your parenting, what support did they offer ?

Why do you think your son struggles ?

Ignore them-you're probably right-they're using that to get out of helping your ds.

What a horrible thing to say to a mother -they sound really supportive.

Can you change HV?Is there someone else you can turn to?

coppertop · 11/01/2008 09:55

What a load of b*llocks!

coppertop · 11/01/2008 09:56

That was in answer to the HV and SALT btw - not the previous posters.

Appalling. If you have the stomach, make a complaint against them both. And if the HV is no use, don't bother seeing her anymore.

deeja, that is awful, on your behalf.
