Drinking and toileting timetable for DS

DS is nearly 8 and autistic. He's dry in the day but not at night. Extremely not at night, he absolutely floods any kind of nappy or pad I've tried (whole other subject!)

Desmopresin hasn't worked for him unfortunately and he's fairly desperate to be dry at night but so far it's not happening.

Recently discovered that although he does drink during the day he will limit how much he drinks and will also force himself to hold off from going to the toilet. Haven't worked out why yet. So one thing we can certainly work on is him exercising his bladder more during the day to try and help work towards night time capacity.

I think the best way to do this is going to be a timetable eg drink x amounts at this time, go for a wee at this time. He will likely respond to this, atrocious as it is to be ignoring his body cues (can put a caveat in that if he needs the toilet before a 'toilet time' then he's allowed to go)

What should I be aiming for? How many mls per hour say, and how many toilet breaks per day?
