had to take mike to see the GP today cos he,s been vomiting for a few days with a nasty cough.

She was lovely.
She,d obviously read his notes that he has AS because she immediately put him at ease by asking about what game he was playing on his DS, she told him exactly what she was going to do every step of the way and she asked him to lie down on her couch to feel his stomach and she said i think my hands are a bit cold do you want to feel them to check, she asked him about his special school and was smiling at him and he chatted to her quite a bit and when we went i thanked her and she winked at me.

not often you get a nice GP that understands ASD, just thought id tell of it.

That's excellent

It's so nice to hear that.

Our GP has a son with Down's Syndrome and I find him really empathetic and understanding. He's lovely.
