dd was a moo last night. she is normally asleep by 10-10.30 but oh no last night she was still awake at midnight. i feel asleep in the end(found out from dh she was still awake at 12.45)
so to day i am getting her into her wheelchair. putting her ugg boots on. she loves them. i get one foot in start on the other. and the first one comes out. this happened over and over again. i lost it. she lost it we are both angry and upset. finally dh helps and we get her off to school. and yes you guess........I feel like shit. i won't see her till tomorow afternoone as it is respite tonight (thank god) and hate it when she goes of all upset.
oh and I am going to get her another pair of boots that she won't pull her foot out of.

Poor old you! I hate it when my son goes off to residential school when hes cross with me. Youll be so pleased to see her when she comes home 2mw night.

Amazingly the boys were OK to get out the door today - although ds3 was v tired after his first few afternoons at school (first time in over a year ds1 has been OK about going). Nightmare last night- trying to get ds1 out of my bed at night (I know, he's waaaay too old but he just says no and refuses to go and what can you do? My bed is his ultimate thing- there is NO sanction!), anyway refused him aess and he STOOD by my bed for three hours staring at me- gitwot! And then when i dropped off.... you guessed..

Still, at least he's in school and happy.

Poor you and DD, 2 shoes. Sounds like a right struggle at the worst time. get her some nice boots and she'll be so excited to see them tomorrow. AND get some rest on your respite night!

2shoes · 09/01/2008 12:14

((2shoes and 2shoes dd)). Hope she's happier when you see her again and keeps her shoes on .

Peachy · 09/01/2008 16:12

2shoes, nit unyil I settle myself (so quite late really) and then I don't sleep because the little git snores! And kicks out in his sleep. Oh and because DS3 is also in there, although he laughs in his sleep rather than snores so its like being in the middle of a blinkin zoo!

Peachy · 09/01/2008 16:13

(although- TMI- ds3 has taken to pulling my top up and expressing milk in the middle of the night for the fun of it, so maybe I should kick him out first ).....

2shoes · 09/01/2008 21:56

yikes
well ds(nt) was a nightmare when he was little. would not sleep in his own bed. as him and dd shared a room back then we had to give in. so in the end i put a matress on the floor. do you think it would work for your ds. (my sil did this as well when she went through this after her dh died)

TC no its not it is a standard bed LOL- and there'll be aby trying to feed in tehre as well soon
have actually been known to leave bed at 2am and sneak in ds1's bed when I physically cant fit in it

2shoes I bet she'll be realy pleased to see you later and she'll ahve forgotten all about it, its normal family stuff after all, none of us are perfect.

i can't wait to see her. ahe got her own back. it was her posture clinin yesterday( I hate them so made an excuse) and I had said to both her and the ot. that she MUST NOT have the same colour seat cover on new seat. so she picked something nearly the same
