The other day I was at Friends house, she has two girls age 2 and 3. I have twin girls age 3 one of whom has special needs.

As the afternoon went on my friend commented on how my Daughter (SN) put her two to shame with her manners!!!

I was so pleased. I know she is very good at saying thank you, but for somebody to actually say she put there two Daughters (not SN) to shame. It made my day.

It was nice, that for once, Ellie was doing something good, that other children weren't doing! I am usually sitting wishing she was doing things and not being left behind.

Hope this makes sense!! Anyway, I was really happy!! I am sure a lot of you will know what it's like to sit there and your child is the only one not doing age appropriate things, so I thought I would share it with you as you would appreciate why I was so pleased!

I will shut up now as it sounds all waffly!!!!!

Hi anniebear- was thinking about you the other day and wondering where you were. Thought I hadn't seen you in a while.

How lovely of your friends to recognise your dd's qualities. You should feel proud and happy about it .
