Am packing. We have to take all food cos when the woman said the supermarket is 5 mins away, she meant by car. We don't have one. So got a bag of food I can cook and mash for dd and reheat in their parents room. They don't have a canteen! Getting a takeout for me n DH tonight as we don't arrive till gone 7pm. Got a bag of pasta and a jar of sauce for tomorrow night. Loaf of bread, butter and peanut sauce for lunch/breakfast. Bag of fruit so I don't come too far off the Slimming World plan. Potatoes and carrots for dd plus readybrek for her brekkie. Argh. Sure I've forgotten something. And the bleedin' respite carer didn't show today so juggling the cleaning, packing etc with dd.
Got to lug all this via taxi-train-taxi.
Should we take the laptop so we can watch a DVD? I'm imaging a souless hotel room type accomodation. Worried about how to entertain dd without all her equipment. Its hard enough with her equipment. I forsee divorce by this time tomorrow with DH muttering on about why we're here, nothing can cure CP and other helpful things.
Although we can walk to the motorway service station. The thrills. I can hardly wait

hope it's a productive visit. A definite yes to the DVD player! And f*ck the diet.

All the best NMC, I have been thinking about you, wondering when you were actually going!
