My son is non mobile and non verbal. He is undiagnosed currently but suspected autism and a recent brain scan showed an enlarged ventricle in his brain.
Is it even possible to potty train a toddler when they can't walk or talk?
I am constantly worried that I'm supposed to be doing these things with him but I've no idea how to even start.
He is also still in a cot, on the highest setting but he is getting big and I think maybe it's getting close to moving him to a cot bed, but if he rolls out he can't get himself up and he has never used a duvet or pillow, just a grow bag and a sheet tucked in over the top.
My four older children, I potty trained them all with no problems and transitioned them into beds with no problems but I feel totally lost with my son because of his difficulties. Any advice would be great.
Also, he has never been swimming and he is too big for those rings babies sit in. He is quite heavy so I'm not sure how to take him swimming and support him the whole time?
