Just wondering how long the dla is taking to give a desion. Sent my 5 year form off 3 weeks ago with evidence SENCO report, diaries and psychiatric report.
And chances of me getting accepted my son has not been diagnosed yet but is functioning as a 3 year old in reports

I sent my daughters DLA form in December 2021, 12 weeks later we had a decision. I'm not sure if it was because it was over Christmas and new year. But it took 12 weeks.

Scan dare 15th Feb. No decision yet but when I called on Monday they said around 9 1/2 weeks in total. But everyone differs. Once we have a decision can update you to let you know how close to that date their working

Decision for ds2 took from November 2021 to 1st March 2022.

We sent out forms in Oct and it took nearly 16 weeks. But it was backdated to the date we requested the forms.

Called up this morning and they advised it is with a decision maker now and should have a response by the start of next week. So will call again on Friday if I’ve not heard anything before then :)
