We were awarded HR both elements DLA this week.
I’m applying for the Motability driving lessons grant; she cannot handle buses any more, we live in a city and she much prefers quieter places but they’re a good 1.5 hours away.
I’ve spent a fortune over the last 3 years accommodating her needs but haven’t been able to really splurge on things that would help.
Examples -
- Proper black out sensory tent
- Weighted blanket
- Seamless everything
- Ear plugs to deaden sound (can’t tolerate the over ear ones any more - any recs for those appreciated)
- Anything to assist emotional regulation
