I would be very grateful for thoughts on the following.
My six year old son is on Medikinet XL 10mg for ADHD which does appear to help him. Side effects on the drug are mild and manageable. However, if we do not give him a dose the following happens. On the day that he does not have a dose, he behaves as if he is still medicated. However, the next day, even if he has a dose, his ADHD behaviours are much worse than before medication. I do not understand why this would be the case and it worries me.
Grateful for any thoughts, advice or experiences with this.
