Hi, my son is almost 9 and has Asd. We have been told by consultant to contact the local Autism charity that specialises is child and family support. They run courses etc including for siblings but I am just wondering what to expect? I have registered with them and just waiting to hear back. I am trying to convince my son that we need to go along and see how they can help us, because he is quite difficult to understand and manage at times. Also can get very disruptive and angry. I don't want him to feel that we are going because he's bad or anything. But we all could do with some guidance I think.
