Bobath centre / therapy

We've got some appointments for DS2 to go to the London Bobath centre in early January. Just wondering if anybody else here has taken their DC there, and if it has helped?

My friend's daughter now 5 has very severe CP and she raves about the Bobath centre. She's in Herts so I"m sure it's the London one she must'v been to. She usually goes for a couple of weeks at a time I think. Always comes back having seen a massive improvement.

That's great, we are going every day for two weeks. It would be so great if we could see an improvement too, and plus it'll be great to hopefully get some ideas on what we can do at home with him...

Do you know how often your friend takes her DD?

I think it's about 2/3 times a year, but I really can't be 100% sure. She's always v positive about all the staff there.
