Buggy for ds 3 help !!

My ds is 3 and a half. He has additional needs and I believe will be diagnosed with asd. I’m looking for a buggy for him so I can take him out without having to carry him ,keep him safe and actually take him out on my own ( it’s a two man job) so please don’t tell me he’s to big/old for a buggy I can’t cope with anyone else telling me “he’s too big/he looks silly”blah blah blah.

I just want a easy to use, easy to fold, good quality buggy that he will fit in and be comfortable so I can take my little boy out.

I use an Excel Elise for my little boy, he is 6 and has ASD. It is really light and folds easily, I got mine from here.

There is also the Maclaren major which is similar but I didn't like the handles on it.

It also depends a bit on how long you think he will need it. We just needed a bit of time extension around that age when our original buggy gave up, and found a cheap (£50) Maclaren XLR on eBay. It would definitely fit a 3-4 year old and even a 5 year old I would think: it has a nice wide seat and high hood, and a load limit of 25kg, so definitely goes older than most buggies. If you see one cheap on a used site it might be worth a go. I found the clip on the harness annoyingly stiff (I'm double jointed) - but otherwise liked it. Comfy, easy to push/steer, decent size basket, and folds down relatively thin (but long!) for storage.

Hauck runner looks great and is reasonably priced

We have a maclaren major elite for my autistic 3 year old as he's very big for his age, it works well for us.
