Hey I have 2 boys 6 &8 - youngest is non verbal and autistic . They've had a shit year and I want to do something special for them - would be flying over with my sister in law and her 8 year old . Any advise on where to stay and how to cope ? Disney hotels look very pricey , surrounding hotels look good but I'm concerned about shuttle bus and making lots of stops etc . Thanks in advance for any replies

We have stayed in Disneyland hotel itself twice. It was helpful to have the hotel on the doorstep and the quieter hours. We didn't use the shuttle and travelled by Eurostar so I can't help with that I'm afraid.

Getting a Priority card will help.

Ok thanks will look at priority card . The main Disney hotel is closed for refurbishment at the moment 😵‍💫

We stayed at the center parcs village nature which is a short drive from Disneyland. There's a shuttle bus too. It's much quieter with lots of playgrounds and they've got a lot of farm animals which our kids 1 and 4 loved. The swimming was excellent too.

We stayed at sequoia and could easily walk back, we didn't use the buses once.

Disney was amazing for my two
