DD is age 3yrs and diagnosed ASD. We are now considering a second child but I want to get some information before I even start considering this big decision.
We had generic testing for dd, they looked at chromosomes and genes but didn’t find anything. The geneticist said our odds of having another child with developmental delay and maybe autism is 5-10%. Our odds for having a child with severe learning difficulties is 2-3%. Can anyone explain to me if this is more than the average person. I can’t quite work it out. Any help would be much appreciated
