I've posted before but in wrong place.my daughter was referred 4 years ago but only really got sent to paediatrician just over a year ago, she has had the assessment with the paeds and recently had assessment with speech and language, I received her report from SALT and the end was that she presented with specific sociocommunication difficulties and it listed things like her not having a good understanding of friendship, taking things literally, lack of facial expressions as well as little to no eye contact and then said she will be discharged from speech and language and sent back to paediatrician. I had a call today from paeds office to say they want to book a telephone feedback appointment with consultant paediatrician to discuss findings. Does anyone know what may happen? I assumed it would be a face to face appointment if they felt it was asd so now I'm thinking they may just say the findings lack evidence of asd? Could anyone advise on what could happen and what your experiences have been with this. Thank you
