Timeframe for issuing paperwork after Tribunal

Hi

We went to Tribunal at the beginning of July and won our case for amendments to DD’s EHCP.

Later in the month we had an official letter from the Tribunal setting out that the LA had conceded, the case was closed and now the LA must follow the timeline for issuing the final amended EHCP paperwork. Except we haven’t had it yet.

I phoned before the start of term and someone said it was ‘top of their list’ (ha), and would definitely be sent to me and the SENCO at DD’s new school before the start of term, but… nothing.

I am tempted to get shitty with the LA as the appeal was a farce and a waste of time from start to finish in itself (and they knew it), but I want to be clear on whether they have actually not kept to the timeframe by not having issued the paperwork yet, before I do so.

Can anyone advise how long the LA has to issue the final amended paperwork after a Tribunal?

Many thanks in advance.

The LA should have amended the contents within 5 weeks of the tribunal order. IPSEA have a model letter you can use to complain.

okay, that’s really helpful. I will check out Ipsea.

Thanks so much!
