.it is really getting to me

My DD is 6 but her cry is so much younger sounding , but still the volume of a 6 year old

Hope that makes sense

It is really getting me down

I am presuming it is because she is so far behind with her development
anyone else find this?

oh yes
dd is 12 and yet when she crys. she just keeps crying. even though i think she forgets what she is crying about iynwim. the volume is loud as well.
On the good side wow you should hear her laugh,

Yes. I remember when ds1 could be heard from behind a building (where he was dh) - he was 5 - he was chuntering away to himself making his sounds. I was with ds2 in a playground and a boy I was standing next to said 'oh I can hear a baby', then looked surprised as ds1 ran round the corner.

i panic when we are on holiday as if we are not detatched dd must keep them awake all night. she always plays up first night,

Oh yes,
asd ds 2 and a half hollers in loud voice while crying like a baby. 1 year old ds calls 'mamma' when upset.
I never really thought aboutit before, but older ds is much more like a baby than baby ds, iykwim

Can sympathise, dds crying should surely come with an environmental health warning when she is really in full screech mode. Its also quite an odd cry, whether due to her lack of speech and her glue ear I don't know. Its sort of a "flat" tone but still very noisy IYKWIM.

hUGS aNNIE,read your other thread and you sound as if you are having a bad day todayxxx.
