That's it really, we've got it
Another battle fought and won!
Such a relief that I can park that one off (ha ha pardon the pun) and move onto the the appeal to get her assessed!

Today so far I have:

  • phoned all her therapists to chase them all up and get them to visit her at her nursery.
  • Spoken to another 3 private SALTs
  • spoken to Portage to see what she thinks of my final letter/reasons for appealing Lotties assesment for statementing and to chase her up and get her into see Lottie in the nursery.
  • Spoken to Lotties nursery about them putting me in touch with SENCO
  • Rung her next school, the one she should start when she's 5 and made an appt to go and see them.
  • Rung and chased AND GOT our blue badge!

Anyone would think I had a special needs child!!!!

Better get back to the job I'm being paid for now aye!

well done btw thomcat. good they hand delivered it too. now be careful aboput the parking on yellow lines bit, remember you can only do it if now loading restrictions are in place.

Thanks Misdee, I'm sure I'll get it all wrong and get more parking tickets in the next 3 years then I have done in a lifetime!

I think it'll be most useful at my hospital appts and for when horrid people use all the M&B parking bays when they don't have kids with them!

huh? explain please misdee?

Blimey, yep, it's one thing getting the badge and then another understanding the restrictions! Always remember to put the badge with Lottie's pic facing you (so the parking people can see the serial number). I've had a few parking tickets for putting it the other way round. If they can get you, they will!

you can park on double yellows in some areas if you have a blue badge, but only if there are no loading restrictions in palce. round here, in town, all disdabled places are also double yellow lined places. this stops other drivers without badges parking there, or it would in therory if we had traffic wardens about. they wont bebaqck till next summer due to funding.
