DIRECT PAYMENTS - How long to sort out?

just a quick question for those in receipt of DP's, how long did it take from getting the ball rolling until you actually received the money, ive heard its a long process?

Over a year for me.

took 6 months but they lost my forms. When they finally founf them in september iits taken till now to get it set up, find an agency and get someone in for that 3 hours (big wow)
