Do DWP always contact the school?

Hi all. As the title says really. We are sending my sons ISP and getting the someone who knows your child section filled out by the school. Will that be enough evidence or will the DWP contact the school for more info as standard?

No, DWP don't always contact school particularly when you send other supporting evidence. This is especially true at the moment with the backlog of claims due to covid.
