Sad about holidays

This summer holiday has really brought home to me how lonely dd is. She's not had one play date invitation despite me having various kids over to ours. It breaks my heart when I see other kids playing with their friends and hearing about peoples amazing holidays with their children and friends. Feel so guilty.

I’ve felt the same too. My dd is 10 and the gap between her and her peers is now very obvious.
She attends an SEN school but in the holidays we quite often have children from her old mainstream school round. But not this year . They are growing up and aren’t really interested now and I’ve felt very alone too.

I’ve deleted Facebook and Instagram so I don’t see pics of everyone enjoying the holidays
