Advice needed about dance school

I dont know how to explain to the well known specialised dance schools ds attends that his recently dx'd aspergers is affecting his learning/achievement.

The thing is that he has been accepted into a high level course once allready for his recognised potential, and then been dropped because of not making expected progress.

He is now on another course since sept. where he has allready been moved into a group with younger kids "more suitable for him".

I am confused as to wether he is being discriminated against, or if he is just not going to be able to keep up in this highly competitive field.

Help needed!

Does your DS still enjoy dance class even though he is now with younger children?. How much younger are they compared to your DS?.

I would talk with the National Autistic Society initially before approaching the dance school. The NAS will hopefully give you some advice.

Yes he still enjoys it, after the initial shock.
The whole group is 9-14 and he is 12. at first he was with 11/12/13's, now I suppose they are 9/10/11/ (and 12).He's head and shoulders above them.
I am trying to get through to NAS.
