Where to go for genetic testing??

I had an appointment with my DD(3)'s paediatrician today about our concerns around ASD. They've agreed she meets the criteria for an assessment and they will refer her.

But the paediatrician said she had some slight concerns about potential underlying causes because of some of DDs physical features. She thinks we should get DD genetic testing but I have no idea how to go about this. Any advice would be amazing. Thanks in advance!

The paediatrician should organise it. Unless they suspect something specific they would often start with a CGH array blood test. If in your area the community paediatrician cannot order this directly they can refer to genetics.

Ours was organised by the teams at GOSH. Our paediatrician sorted it all for us

Yes, consultant paediatrician arranged it.
