I have a 9 year old son with a genetic condition he is non verbal but his understanding is really good. The problem is he is fully toilet trained at school but at home he will go where every he is. I am lucky to have a toilet up and down stairs for a council house so he's never to far away from a toilet. I am constantly asking him if he needs to go to the toilet and part of the problem is that he won't do any thing I say. When my husband tells him go toilet he just goes. His misbehaves for me pushes a me and nips me. Today I got a nail file metal one poked in my head while I was trying to get his shoes on.

My husbands here but doesn't really help and I am sick of the smell and constantly cleaning poo off floors.
Any advice

Sal

Hello Sadless - sounds like he thinks he can perhaps get away with more with you. Do you use any method like time out or use a reward chart for being good?
