New class teacher

My dd9 thought she had met her new teacher for year 5 as she has visited the classroom to read a story to the class. She was happy as she liked her. Today a letter home says she has someone else a teacher that she has met before and wasn’t keen on 😢 she’s very upset. Am I within my rights to ask for a change ?

It is highly unlikely saying anything will achieve anything, by the time classes are announced they are usually set in stone. If it is a single form entry school the chances of changing teacher are zero. Even if it is multi form entry it is unlikely the school will change.
