Hi JaysMum, I'm pretty new here too and can't stay away now! There's a really lovely bunch of mums on here. I've got a DD with autism and a DS who seems to be NT (whatever that is!!!!)...

carla · 06/11/2004 10:06

dizzyone · 06/11/2004 10:52

Hello JaysMum, I'm fairly new here to and dont post much yet but there is loads of good advice and info here, welcome

InternationalGirl · 06/11/2004 13:23

Welcome Jaysmum - I have 2 DDs (10yr old NT and 4.5 yr old dx with autism) and 1 fabulous DH.
You'll find it fantastic here on MN.

It might make you nervous being so new but I just thought I'd let you know there is a Mumsnet meetup next week - I think blossomhill is going maybe you could come with her?

JaysMum · 06/11/2004 15:05

Would love to meet up only problem I live about 300 miles away from Blossom!!!!

Bit far for a coffee and a chat!!!!

Hi Jaysmum, Welcome! I also have a 9 year old. He has "classic" autism, is non-verbal but vrery communicative! i also have a sister who is 1.5 yearsolder than me who has Aspergers and a cousin who has a son with autism who is 2 yrs or so younger than mine but seems quite similar. Oh 3 nearly forgot! I also have a 19 month DD who is prob OK but I worry about her a lot.

Eulalia · 06/11/2004 19:19

Hi, welcome from me too. I have a 5 year old autistic son and a 2 year old dd who isn't autistic but decidedly odd at times. Hope you enjoy Mumsnet!
