why dont the special needs threads go in the active conversations lists?

Are we in SN slightly inferior? Have been checking and the SN responses def dont go in that list..................

I like to think that it's the opposite Lottie - that we have our own place that the lurkers, and those that only post on popular or current threads, can't stick their noses into so readily.

I still think it's a special place, a bit private, kind of like some other areas on mumsnet, like adoption or gay parents or miscarriage / bereavement, where most of us don't really have a place to "hang out".

I've started to realise that my view of parenting has changed now with DS2's difficulties - I just don't "get" a lot of what other parents are feeling, so maybe it's good that it's a bit harder for non-SN parents to come here.

JMHO, hope I don't start a new backlash....

people can opt in to having sn in active convos. this is so that they think before posting. that is all.
