carers allowance & prescriptions

I have just been to docs and as I have numerous medical conditions I once again have got many prescriptions to take in.

I have had to give up work due to DC's hosp appointments etc and now get carers allowance.

You don't get free prescriptions with carers allowance do you?

Nope but if you have certain medical conditions you can get a medical exemption card. The doc will have a form that lists them. One is being physically disabled.
Then you get free prescriptions (meds only, not glasses)
