Sorry, don’t know what happened there!

Basically, I really need a break from DD (ASD). I feel terrible saying that, but I’m down and drained, it’s been a hard year.

I don’t know what to do.

Dd is out of school currently and I’m worn out. I care for another person too, can’t keep up with housework etc. H tries to work and is doing his best to be around when possible. I am on medication and I’m so worn out.

I am not quite sure what to do.

So sorry to read this and sad that you've had no replies.
Being a parent of any child is exhausting let alone a child with asd.
How old is your child?
Have you any parents that can help, maybe to give you a break?
My dc went back to school this week and I breathed a sigh of relief if I'm honest. 8 Yr old has asd and middle child possibly adhd not confirmed yet, we got through the school holidays this time by the skin of our teeth. You have to do what you have to do, if it means more screen time etc then go with it.
