20 month old walking on tiptoes

My 20 month old has started waking ok tiptoes a lot. They learnt to walk at around 11 months and is not choosing to walk on tiptoes more and more. Any idea why?

Could be all sorts of reasons. Do they find it uncomfortable to walk normally? Do you have any other concerns? It could be just some natural experimenting or a random phase, they are still very young. Mention it to your HV at the two year check.
