Just wondering if any one can offer any advice, ds is on the path to being diagnosed autistic he has significant speech and understanding delays which means he can’t follow instructions. We have a huge problem with him picking his nose until it bleeds, it’s almost like he want it’s to bleed and likes the taste/feel of it, the problem is as soon as I turn my back he does it so he can have up to three pretty bad nose bleeds a day and he’s currently anaemic. Has any one else been through this, any suggestions on how I get him to stop? I’m really starting to worry, every time I say no or take his hand away it seems to spur him on more or he will just cry and throw himself to the floor.
