We went out to dinner for our anniversay last night - put dd in a dress as it was sooo hot - she normally wears shorts and a shirt. GIven that she spends so much time with her legs up and out and every which way but sitting nicely in her buggy!!

Well she looked like such a big girl in her dress and sandals... when we got there - we sat in the lounge bar area for a few drinks and there was a woman singing / playing guitar etc. Dd sat there absolutely enthralled - swaying to the music in her big chair, clapping each time the woman finished and then singing and waving her arms as well.... she looked so grown up and sooo cute..... everyone who went past kept saying ohh isn't she gorgeous - dh and I almost cried we were so proud of her.

How old is she, eidsvold?

I love it when they behave so well that they make you proud!

Oh bless, another lump in my throat,,,GULP!!!
You must be sooo proud of her.

I know what you mean about the legs going every where,I've stopped trying to correct dd, I think she does it for the attention now. I just try to get her interest in something else in the hope she will correct herself!
My dd has got a new pair of little pink suede boots,it really takes me aback, I have to take a second look at her sometimes, she looks all grown up too. What has happened to my baby?
I'm glad you managed to spend your anniversary somewhere other than the hospital eidsvold-you must be counting the days now.
All our love, Dingle.

How sweet. Did DH get you a guitar as an anniversary pressie?

eidsvold · 28/10/2004 22:46

nah Davros -w e don't do anniversay presents although I did get a gorgeous, expensive eternity ring for my birthday so that kinda covered the anniversary too I guess....
