Good grief. I've of complained on the spot and demanded to see the manager.
Please do complain, its a disability hate crime (betcha didn't know that and betcha Tesco's doesn't either. Course, chances of the police doing anythingis zero but its worth threatening Tesco's with. They wouldn't tolerate racism)

Ring Head Office Cod, and if you have your till receipt, they will be able to tell who was on that till at that particular time.

If it had been bought to my attention whilst working for customer services at Tesco, heads would have rolled...

Hopefully the Tesco assistant will be mortified when it's pointed out to her the upset she caused.
Regarding the softplay assistant who told Fio's dd off, I think I would have been approaching the manager to make a complaint against her. Sitting in the ball pool is something that children do all the time, it's not a problem as long as they're clear from the slides when others are coming down them.
