Does anyone have experience of secondary schools in Havering that are good for children on the spectrum? My son is currently is in mainstream education and doing well, he does get an assistant in school and has an EHCP in place. We need to apply next year and are unsure between choosing something local he can walk go or applying to a grammar school or somewhere further that might be better. I do worry if he would be able to take the bus on his own as well.
