Angry meltdowns

My dd 8 is currently undergoing tests for ASD. She has been having horrendous meltdowns the last couple of days and I just don't know how to cope. To see my gorgeous girl so full of hate and anger and telling me to F off is so awful. What do I do ? How can I sit back and let her swear at me like this ? She chucks cushions and toys at me, hits me etc I just feel at the end of my tether. She is always full of apologies afterwards, I feel like a battered wife !! Any help/suggestions??

@lollipoprainbow 💐 So sorry, it's really hard! Has this just been going on the last few days? My son is very sensitive to loud unexpected noises and has been hating the fireworks going off.
I've been giving him space and encouraging him to use headphones to block the noise.
Can you identify any triggers? Has anything changed recently? How is she sleeping? Any new worries? Is she able to identify anything?

@Niffler75 it's generally when she is playing roblox with her friend and it goes wrong ! I could stop them speaking but it's her only let out and she loves playing.
