Hi all,
Back here for advices regarding language delay in 3 and half year old. He is now talking in 2- 6 words sentences. No speech sound errors. His pronunciation is good for his age, But the sentence structure is not right most of the time. With the spoken words, we try to make out what he tries to say, and we could do it only half of the time. Eg. "I made a cook omelet beard, is here" pointing to toy microoven
"Banana peel please" to peel banana skin.
We speak to him in english mostly and very little in our mother tongue. Could that have caused this language delay.

Has anyone experienced language delay in your kids and how did you correct it. What statergy did your ST gave to correct language delays. For now, I am remodelling and replying back with proper sentence to him. Share me other things that worked for you. We are on the waiting list for salt services.
