Anyone else waiting for a DLA appeal date

After my 11 year old daughter’s mandatory reconsideration form was rejected I put in an appeal. This was July and we still don’t have a date. Are they running behind due to Covid / quarantine?

Before you got the hearing date or the whole process?

Locally 2/3 months between submitting the appeal and getting a tribunal date would be unheard of unusually quick. You are looking at 1 year +, and probably even longer now.

Oh, ok. I will stop worrying for now then. I was concerned they would suddenly announce its tomorrow or have forgotten us. I need time to start submitting information. Apparently I can do this before the date is announced right?

I’ve had a SEND tribunal and that was about a year from SA request to the hearing so I suppose it’s similar?

14 months in total, the hearing date was given 2 weeks prior
