My son is 7 and has ASD and dyspraxia. He is chatty and sociable, but very behind academically, struggling to hold a pen etc.
He does have support as he is in an ASD base within a mainstream school in London. We would like to move out if London, but I'd like to find a school that will take him all the way through, so somewhere like More House in Farnham. I loved it, but because he's so behind academically they are unlikely to take him. So that's my problem - where are the places that cater for social boys that really struggle academically- way behind etc. I think he will flourish in right environment.
We are pretty flexible in where we go, so all suggestions gratefully received. We also want to see Egerton Rothesay, but they aren't do show arounds at the moment.
