Hi am new here and I was wondering if I could get some help regarding dla and peoples experiences with it. My son is 4 and currently been assessed for asd and sensory issues so my hv told me to apply for dla as he has no sense of risk very sensitive to certain sounds eats inedible foods has mega meltdowns doesn't hardly sleep. I rang the dla help line on the 30th June the form came 9th july and I had sent it back the 17th. My question is should I have received a message or letter saying they have received it or any thing and also how quick are these things taking at the moment. Any help would be gratefully appreciated x
