Hi there, do any of you have any experience of nurture classes within secondary schools? Are any of your DC in one perhaps?
My son is going into year 7 in September, he has a diagnosis of dyspraxia but also finds social skills and friendships quite tricky. The school have said he’ll be in a nurture class, a small class of approx 16 and the group will stay together for all their lessons with much more one to one support.
Any advice or experiences would be appreciated.
I’m so anxious about him starting in such a large secondary school.
