I was thinking of doing a "Christmas with the Forgetfuls" episode. Everytime I think of presents or Christmas dinners I remember a certain present in a warm oven on Christmas morning.

That's actually quite spooky because the other night while bathing ds1 and ds2 I had:

"Somewhe-e-e-ere on the spectrum

this just gets better.....spoke briefly to his teacher this morning as i had forgotten to put a plaster over his warts(to stop him picking them)....so i asked if she could get someone to put one on

she said she'd suggested to leigh that he'd need to wear gloves in school.....cannot believe it....IF she felt that was needed surely she should mention that to me????

Then the icing on the cake....she was describing how much he fiddles with his fingers....and then actually said she feels he 'hides behind this issue'......now let me guess .......she doesn't think he's got a ASD.....all his difficulties are due to him 'hiding behind warts'.....my interpretation of her thoughts is that WARTS cause Low self esteem,Anxiety,poor attention and distractability......can't wait for parents evening tonight!

She said he should wear GLOVES?????!!! Does she give the same 'advice' to every child with a wart on their hand???

If you think that she feels Leigh doesn't have an ASD then could you ask the SENCO to perhaps speak to her?
