Hi

I was looking into ABA or SCERTS for my 3 year old child. Has anyone had any experience of these ?

Can you do both Or is it best to stick to one and which one is better?

Its a minefield !!

Which one is better any idea?

ABA is considered abuse by a lot of autistic people. It focuses too much on behaviour rather than causes. It's about teaching autistics to act neurotypical which is damaging.

Agree with cruncheyleaves. Many autistic adults have been quite vocal about the damage ABA can cause.
I would look at the areas your 3 year old struggles with and appropriate help or therapy for that. An autistic child doesn't necessarily need therapy for being autistic. But they may need speech therapy to help with communication, or OT for help with sensory processing etc.
Hope this doesn't come across as harsh sounding. I have a child with profound needs and I understand how hard finding the right support can be.
